Synopsis
When banker Walraven van Hall (Barry Atsma) is asked in World War II whether he wants to use his financial contacts for the resistance, he does not hesitate long. Together with his brother, Gijs van Hall (Jacob Derwig), he devises a risky construction to take out large loans to finance the resistance. If that is not enough, the brothers devise the greatest bank fraud in Dutch history: tens of millions of guilders are channeled out of the Dutch Bank under the eye of the occupiers. But the larger the operation becomes, the more people know about it. Every day, the chances of someone making that one mistake that could end the deeds and lives of the resistance bankers are increasing.

For the film “Banker of the Resistance” I was asked to make a number of identity cards, banknotes, cigarette packs and some documents.
I have done this with great pleasure.
